Kegerator Conversion Kits

These are the best Kits available and here's why!
Keg Cowboy Kegerator Kits proudly use Tap-Rite/NADS products that are made “Texas Tough” in San Antonio, Texas
SIDEWINDER KIT -KEGERATOR CONVERSION KIT COMPONENTS
Our “ready to go” kits have the best mix of components and listed below are some of the reasons why.
5# Co2 Tank: Don’t be fooled by other kits offering aluminum Co2 Tanks. Aluminum tanks are less durable than our steel tanks and become dented very easily. We admit the aluminum tanks look great and are lighter than steel tanks, however the smaller steel tanks aren’t really very heavy and all those good looks are wasted since the tanks are usually located inside the kegerator behind the keg. Anyone who has dealt with “refilling” these tanks knows that you are usually trading your tank out for a full tank and not actually getting your tank filled. We feel this is the most practical tank for most setups and it allows us to provide commercial grade components where they are needed instead having the bulk of the price attributed to a shiny tank that no one ever sees.
Heavy Duty Double Gauge Co2 Regulator: We spent the money to get you the best! Compare our Tap-Rite 742 HP to everyone else’s 742 BF or even 741 BF. This regulator is less prone to “freezing up” than our competitors cheaper regulators which means less wasted Co2, less wasted beer, and less problems in general. Included in this regulator is a 55-65 PSI non-adjustable safety, shut off with 5/16-outlet barb, self-sealing inlet seal and inlet filter. This double gauge regulator has one gauge to assist you in supplying the correct amount of pressure through the lines and a second gauge to let you know when it is time to trade the Co2 tank in for a full one. Believe us – nothing spoils the party quicker than running out of Co2 after store hours.
4 Feet of 5/16" Air/Co2 Line Assembly: Not the flimsy stuff you usually see.
US Sankey Lever Handle Coupler/Tap: That’s right just like real bars use! This coupler features a 55-psi pressure relief valve and a forged brass body. To “tap the keg” all you do is pull out, twist, and then press down on the lever handle to properly couple the keg. Our competition likes to cut corners here by using plastic “wing handled” couplers that are very fragile. Our Lever Handle model won’t break the first time someone “checks” to see if the keg is “floated” by pulling on the tap like a “wing handled” tap will. Also the KAM-Loc Keg lock feature ends unexpected spray of beer or loss of gas and the guided Kam-Loc arm prevents the tap from being removed from keg with the probe in the tapped position. The next keg cannot be tapped with the probe in the “down” or “tapped” position. This tap is compatible with most US domestic beers. See our compatibility list at www.KegCowboy.com on the bottom half of the home page
5 Feet of Beer Line Assembly: Again, not the flimsy stuff you usually see.
5 1/8" Long Shank with Nipple Assembly: Man this thing is so beautiful it makes you want to cry. We could have gone with something shorter and cheaper but we wanted to ensure that we could accommodate even the widest refrigerator doors.
Chrome Plated Faucet with Brass Lever: Attractive and easy to clean chrome finish. The Brass Lever is made to last and will accommodate custom tap handles.
Black ABS plastic Faucet Knob: This is just to get you started. You will probably want to customize the faucet with your favorite tap handle.
Kit is assembled and pressure tested prior to shipping: Anyone else doing this? checking...............checking................checking..............Nope!!!!!
Spanner Wrench: Included! Allows for flawless installation of the shank/faucet.
No washers needed: Our high-quality components don’t require gaskets or washers to keep from leaking since they are built with precision. Consider this evidence that this isn’t your typical conversion kit.
Detailed Online Instruction/Installation Manual: Hey we know that you know what you are doing and don’t need our help. These are just in case you give it as a gift to your brother-in law or boss! Even though the kits are designed to be “ready to go“ with minimal assembly required, our online manual will walk you through every step of the installation process.
